NEWINGTON PUBLIC SCHOOL UPGRADE

After 12 years of neglect by the previous Liberal Government, I’m pleased to announce that we are removing every demountable and building 10 new permanent classrooms. 

Delivering on our commitment to you, this redevelopment will deliver:

  • A new permanent teaching building with 10 modern classrooms. 

  • New shared indoor common areas, multipurpose spaces and student amenities. 

  • Removal of demountable classrooms.

  • Landscaping works.

The upgrade will be completed in late 2027. Two demountable classrooms have been installed to support capacity during construction. The outside of school hours care facility has been relocated and is now open.
