ERMINGTON WEST PUBLIC SCHOOL UPGRADE AND NEW PUBLIC PRESCHOOL

Project overview

The Minns Labor Government is upgrading Ermington West Public School to renew existing school assets and provide additional support and preschool spaces.

The upgrade will include:

• 3 new support learning classrooms
• new administration facilities
• upgrade the existing hall to include Out of School Hours (OOSH) and storage
• upgrade the existing classrooms
• a new amenities block.

As part of the Minns Labor Government’s commitment to deliver expanded access to early childhood education, this school upgrade will also include a new public preschool for 40 children.

Progress summary

Master planning for the school upgrade is near completion. Site due diligence assessments and investigations are near completion and being reviewed. The Project Reference Group continues to meet to ensure the upgrade reflects the needs of students, staff and the wider community. 

The new and refurbished classrooms and facilities will be completed in 2028
