From December 8, Bus Route 526 will be upgraded as an All Day Frequent service running from 5am to 1am, seven days a week to support the high demand for travel between Rhodes, Wentworth Point, Sydney Olympic Park and Strathfield.
These changes deliver a much needed boost to frequency and capacity on this popular route with an additional 329 trips per week. Services will operate 5am to 1am seven days a week, with a bus every 10 minutes in the peak periods and 20 minutes in the off-peak periods.
Bus Route 526 will now terminate at Strathfield Station. There are alternative services for passengers wishing to continue to Burwood including Sydney Train services and bus route 458.
This upgrade in services will provide improved connectivity to train and ferry services for Olympic Peninsula residents.
