Return and Earn is more convenient than ever in Westmead

28 May 2025

Parramatta residents have even more locations to recycle their eligible bottles, cans and cartons with the opening of a new Return and Earn machine in Westmead.

The Westmead Coles Return and Earn machine is the 14th return point in the Parramatta area, making it easy for residents to redeem their eligible containers and get the 10c refund back.

The new machine is located in the Coles car park near the Click and Collect parking at 29-33 Darcy Road, Westmead. It is open daily from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm.

Users of the new machine can print a voucher for the refund amount, which can be redeemed at Coles as a discount off shopping or redeemed for cash. Users can also opt for an e-voucher or payment directly into their bank or PayPal account using the Return and Earn app.

Locals can also donate their refund to one of over 300 donation partners listed on the Return and Earn app. There’s a range of charities to consider donating to including Muscular Dystrophy NSW who are raising funds for vital services including support programs for people living with neuromuscular conditions.

Return and Earn has become a key fundraising channel for many charities and community groups in NSW. Over $72 million has been raised from donations and fees from hosting return points since the scheme launched in 2017.
