The electorate of Parramatta has secured $448,473 in funding for a total of 15 infrastructure projects through the NSW Government’s 2025 Community Building Partnership Program (CBP).
The $41 million program ensures local organisations and councils across the state have the facilities to support more vibrant and inclusive communities.
This year, the CBP grants will help bring to life a variety of projects across Parramatta, including the outdoor sports area at the Newington Community Centre, sun safety shades at Dundas Public School, new sensors for the automatic doors at the Northcott Society as well as a dedicated vehicle for the Parramatta Women’s Shelter to transport women and children fleeing domestic violence.
Member for Parramatta, Donna Davis said:
“The State Government funds will deliver much-needed improvements to local facilities including a disability toilet and change room at Parramatta City Tennis, playground markings at St Oliver’s Primary School, Harris Park and an upgrade to the multi-purpose community room at the Holy Name of Mary Rydalmere Parish.
“It’s great to see this grassroots funding supporting local projects that make a real difference across the entire Parramatta Electorate.
“I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing the positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes in our community.”
