PARRAMATTA EAST PUBLIC SCHOOL UPGRADE
We’re delivering on our commitment to build better schools for NSW.
After a decade of inaction by the previous Liberal National Government, we’re getting on with the job of upgrading Parramatta East Public School!
As the State Member for Parramatta, I have fought for the following:
- 24 NEW classrooms, 6 shared common areas & 6 large multipurpose areas
- NEW school library
- NEW learning support unit with 3 NEW classrooms, a shared common area & multipurpose space
- Revamping 6 existing classrooms & converting the library to a staff room
- Removing old demountables to provide more play space for students
Project Progress:
Construction is underway and these brand-new facilities will open from Day 1, Term 1, 2027 as the Minns Government continues its work to rebuild public education across NSW. Once complete, Parramatta East will have capacity for more than 650 students, future-proofing the school for one of the fastest growing communities in NSW.
