Taxi Subsidy Scheme: Eligible people with a permanent disability can receive 50% off their taxi fare.
Seniors Opal Card: Residents aged 60 or over can access a Seniors Opal Card which gives you unlimited travel for $2.50.
HEALTHCARE
Making healthcare more affordable and accessible by allowing GPs to diagnose ADHD and prescribe medications and pharmacists to give flu jabs and prescribe skin treatments, UTI medications and re-supply the contraceptive pill.
Free Glasses: Financially disadvantaged residents can receive free glasses and vision aids.
Free Ambulance Fee: Eligible people can claim an exemption from paying an ambulance fee.
Fertility Treatment Rebate: Women who have received an eligible fertility treatment from 1 October 2022 can claim a $2,000 rebate.
SENIORS
Seniors Card: Residents aged 60 or over, can apply for a free Seniors Card which gives you discounts at thousands of businesses.
Pensioners Council Rates Rebate: Pensioners can get $250 off their council rates, $87.50 off water rates and $87.50 off sewage rates.
Seniors Discount on National Parks: Seniors can get a 20% discount on the price of National Park annual passes.
Pensioners Free Will Preparation: Pensioners can access a free will preparation service.
Pensioners Vehicle Registration Concession: Pensioners are eligible for concessions on their vehicle registration costs.
ENERGY/UTILITIES/OTHER
Gas Bill Relief: Eligible households can receive $121 off their gas bills each year.
Seniors Energy Rebate: Eligible seniors can receive $200 off their electricity bill each year.
Family Energy Rebate: Eligible families with dependent children can receive $180 off their electricity bill.
Low Income Household Rebate: Eligible concession cardholders can receive $285 off their electricity bill each year.
Washing Machine Exchange Program: Eligible applicants can trade-in their old water and energy inefficient top loader machine and receive a brand-new high-end washing machine for $250.
No Interest Loans Scheme: The Minns Labor Government has extended the No Interest Loan Scheme (“the NIL Scheme”) and Aged-Care Supported Accommodation (“the ASCA Program”) in two major steps towards alleviating financial stress for low-income households across NSW.
Active Kids Voucher: Families receiving the Family Tax Benefit Part A, Part B or both in the current or previous financial year, can receive a $100 voucher to register in a sporting activity.
