As your State Member of Parliament, I’m working hard to make sure our community gets ahead with better services and infrastructure.
I’ve lived locally for thirty years, where I have raised my two sons with my husband Michael and have had the privilege of serving as Lord Mayor of the City of Parramatta.
After 12 years of neglect by the former Liberal Government, the Minns Labor Government is getting on with the job of delivering:
- Better Schools for our Children: new high schools for Wentworth Point and Melrose Park and a 61 per cent drop in teacher vacancies across NSW, meaning better education for our kids.
- Better Hospitals and More Health Workers: $492 million for new pathology services at Westmead Hospital with 228 new nurses and 38 new allied health professionals across our local health district.
- Better Roads: including $40.5 million to deliver the Hill Road upgrade and fixing the Australia Avenue roundabout.
- More Police Officers to Keep our Community Safe: 82 new local police officers across local Police Area Commands.
- Rental Reforms to Make Renting Fairer: no grounds evictions are now banned, it’s now easier to have pets in rentals and there are now no additional fees when paying rent.
But there’s more work to do.
As a strong voice in the Government, I’m working with Premier Chris Minns to deliver for Parramatta.
